Traif in Williamsburg

Traif, a fine establishment for unkosher (aka traif translated in Hebrew) foods, asked us to paint the sofit above their bar. Influenced by the owners’ favorite pieces of art by Miro and Spanish street artists, we came up with this abstract piece. A darker shade than the orange backsplash, the work looks like a pattern but is not repetitive and containts subtle differences throughout it.

A photo of the artwork with the restaurant all cleaned up, as well as some key menu info was recently featured on Thrillist.

Also, stay tuned for photos of the community table Mitch designed and is painting.
